What was the CareerBuilder API?
CareerBuilder operated one of the largest job board APIs in North America, available to publishers and enterprise customers at api.careerbuilder.com. It provided programmatic access to job search, job listings, and candidate tools. After merging with Monster in 2024, the combined entity filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in June 2025 and completed liquidation in October 2025. European operations lost system access during the transition. The API is no longer operational.
