Import Techmap jobs into eJobSiteSoftware
eJobSiteSoftware does not document a self-serve feed importer, but it offers XML job backfill (job wrapping) (XML backfill feeds), set up by the eJobSiteSoftware team. Techmap's Job Postings RSS API gives you a standard RSS 2.0 XML feed for any search you define in the URL - a feed URL you can hand over to eJobSiteSoftware, so your board gets relevant postings from ATS career pages, job boards, aggregators and public employment offices.
Set it up in 4 steps
- Get a free API key on RapidAPI: the RSS API has a free plan with 1,000 job postings per month, the Jobs API includes 1,000 job postings per month for free. Paid plans cost about $1 per 1,000 job postings (paid plans from $29/month).
- Build your feed URL with your filters and your key as
rapidapi-keyparameter, e.g.https://job-postings-rss-feed.p.rapidapi.com/api/rss/v1/jobs_full?countryCode=us&occupation=programmer&rapidapi-key=YOUR_KEY - Send the feed URL to eJobSiteSoftware and ask them to add it as a backfill source for your board.
- Check the field mapping of the first import together with eJobSiteSoftware (see the table below).
Tip: The documented backfill imports XML feeds from Indeed, CareerJet, WhatJobs and partner feeds - ask eJobSiteSoftware to add the Techmap RSS feed as a partner feed (the software is self-hosted PHP, so your developer can also add it).
Plan requirements according to eJobSiteSoftware: Listed as included in the software.
