Import Techmap jobs into SmartJobBoard
SmartJobBoard lets you import jobs from an external feed with its Job Auto Import (XML, JSON, zip/gzip archives). Techmap's Job Postings RSS API returns a standard RSS 2.0 XML feed for any search you define in the URL, so you can fill a niche or regional board with relevant postings from ATS career pages, job boards, aggregators and public employment offices. SmartJobBoard also reads JSON, so you can use our Jobs API as a source, too.
Set it up in 4 steps
- Get a free API key on RapidAPI: the RSS API has a free plan with 1,000 job postings per month, the Jobs API includes 1,000 job postings per month for free. Paid plans cost about $1 per 1,000 job postings (paid plans from $29/month).
- Build your feed URL: add your filters and your key as
rapidapi-keyparameter, e.g.https://job-postings-rss-feed.p.rapidapi.com/api/rss/v1/jobs_full?countryCode=us&occupation=programmer&rapidapi-key=YOUR_KEY - Add the feed in SmartJobBoard: Settings → Job Auto Import → Create New Auto import (enter the feed URL and map the fields). Paste the URL and map the fields (see below).
- Schedule the import so new postings arrive automatically - Feeds run once a day; a manual run imports the first 1,000 jobs.
Tip: Filter the feed URL itself (country, occupation, remote …) - that way you don't need SmartJobBoard's Enterprise-only import filters.
Plan requirements according to SmartJobBoard: Auto import filters and category mapping are Enterprise features.
Source for the SmartJobBoard settings: SmartJobBoard documentation (checked September 2026). Techmap is not affiliated with SmartJobBoard; menus and plans may change.
