Import Techmap jobs into JBoard

JBoard lets you import jobs from an external feed with its XML Feed Importer (XML, gzip XML, RSS-structured XML). Techmap's Job Postings RSS API returns a standard RSS 2.0 XML feed for any search you define in the URL, so you can fill a niche or regional board with relevant postings from ATS career pages, job boards, aggregators and public employment offices.

Set it up in 4 steps

  1. Get a free API key on RapidAPI: the RSS API has a free plan with 1,000 job postings per month, the Jobs API includes 1,000 job postings per month for free. Paid plans cost about $1 per 1,000 job postings (paid plans from $29/month).
  2. Build your feed URL: add your filters and your key as rapidapi-key parameter, e.g.
    https://job-postings-rss-feed.p.rapidapi.com/api/rss/v1/jobs_full?countryCode=us&occupation=programmer&rapidapi-key=YOUR_KEY
  3. Add the feed in JBoard: Jobs Aggregation → Add Aggregator → XML Feed Importer. Paste the URL and map the fields (see below).
  4. Schedule the import so new postings arrive automatically - The first run imports 1,000 jobs, the rest follows with the next scheduled run.

Tip: JBoard's importer works with rss → channel → item paths, which is exactly the structure of our RSS feed.

Plan requirements according to JBoard: Advanced plan (daily refresh) or Scale plan (refresh up to every 4 hours).

Source for the JBoard settings: JBoard documentation (checked September 2026). Techmap is not affiliated with JBoard; menus and plans may change.
